1. Product
Focus Lock is a focus enforcement tool that helps users block distracting websites and desktop apps during timed focus sessions.
2. Focus Credit and staked sessions
Focus Lock offers optional Focus Credit for certain commitment levels. Standard sessions require 5 available Focus Credits. Strong sessions require 30 available Focus Credits. Free sessions have no paid stake, but abandoned sessions may still be recorded.
3. User responsibility
Users choose their focus mode, blocked websites, blocked desktop apps, session duration, and enforcement level. Users are responsible for choosing settings that fit their own workflow and device access needs.
4. Payments
Focus Credit payments are processed by a third-party payment provider. When a staked session starts, the required credit is locked. Completed sessions release the locked credit. Abandoned sessions or protection disconnections beyond the allowed grace period may consume the locked credit.
5. Refunds
Consumed Focus Credit is a session-specific digital action. Refund requests can be sent through the Contact page and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
6. Availability
Focus Lock may be unavailable during maintenance, provider outages, browser changes, operating system updates, or network issues.
7. Limitation of liability
Focus Lock is provided as a productivity tool. It does not guarantee behavior change, exam results, work outcomes, or uninterrupted blocking on every device configuration.
