Browser + desktop focus protection

Make quitting harder.

Block distractions across your browser and desktop, then choose a commitment level that makes stopping early feel costly.

How it works

Three choices before focus starts.

1

Pick what to block

Add distracting websites, desktop apps, launchers, games, shopping, or social feeds.

2

Choose your commitment

Use Free mode, lock 5 credits, or lock 30 credits for a stronger self-commitment.

3

Finish your session

Complete the session and locked credits return. End early and the locked credits are forfeited.

Commitment levels

Same protection. Different exit cost.

Focus Lock is not a SaaS feature ladder. The blocking tools stay the same; users choose how much resistance they want before starting.

Flexible 0 credits locked

No stake. End anytime.

Committed 5 credits locked

Returned when you finish. Lost if you quit early.

Serious 30 credits locked

Higher stakes for sessions you really want to protect.

Download

Install both layers of protection.

The Chrome extension blocks distracting websites. The macOS Desktop Agent blocks distracting desktop apps such as Steam, Discord, and game launchers.

Credit pricing

Focus Credit pricing

Focus Credit is optional. Top up credits, lock them during committed sessions, and get them back when you finish.

Credit top-up 1 credit = $1

Add credits to your Focus Lock balance before starting committed sessions.

Standard commitment 5 credits locked

Complete the session and all 5 credits return. End early and they are forfeited.

Strong commitment 30 credits locked

A stronger self-commitment for sessions you really want to protect.

Important credit notice

Focus Credit is optional and chosen by the user. Staked sessions lock the required credit amount. If the user completes the session, the locked credit is released. If the user abandons the session or disables required protection for too long, the locked credit may be consumed.

FAQ

Simple answers before you install.

Do I need both the extension and desktop app?

The Chrome extension blocks websites. The desktop app blocks distracting desktop apps. Use both for full protection.

Are credits a subscription?

No. Credits are a wallet balance. Committed sessions lock credits temporarily and return them when you complete the session.

What happens if I quit early?

Free sessions can end anytime. Standard and Strong sessions forfeit their locked credits when you intentionally stop early.
